Colleen is a dynamic individual with an interesting background. Originally from Scotland, she grew up in Ireland and pursued her higher education at Sligo IT where she completed a Bachelor of Business (Honors) in Applied Sport. Her studies allowed her to gain experience in various areas like sports development, health promotion, marketing, management, teaching, and coaching. 

 

Colleen's journey at IHC began in 2014 when she joined the outdoor adventure team. She guided and taught campers in the breathtaking wilderness of the Adirondacks, where she developed a deep appreciation for the beauty of nature. Her love for adventure led her to IHC West and eventually to the Village, where she became the CIT Group Leader. In 2017, Colleen was called up to the Operations team. 

 

Colleen is a people person, a trait that has been honed through years of working in retail and various department stores and sports stores worldwide. She is passionate about providing exceptional customer service and prides herself on her attention to detail and going beyond her duties in both her professional and personal life

 

Traveling is another one of Colleen's passions, and she has been fortunate enough to explore many parts of the world, spending time in Australia, New Zealand, and many parts of Asia.

 

Colleen loves to be active and push herself to new limits, whether by running the NYC marathon, doing CrossFit, or enjoying the great outdoors on a hike. 

 

In 2021, Colleen decided to make IHC her full-time job and passion, as the Operations and Facility Director. She loves being a part of the team due to the constant opportunities for professional and personal development. Collaborating with amazing colleagues and creating an unforgettable camp experience for campers and adults alike over the years has been a highlight of her career at IHC.
