Parents and their children arrive together but get to explore camp separately throughout the day. Parents spend the day with the directors of camp, asking questions and touring the facilities. Children get to "play camp" as their own division for the day, and get to experience all of IHC's facilities and activities first-hand! Councilors take the future campers to tennis, soccer, baseball, canoeing or water-skiing on the lake—and even some rock climbing or mountain biking!

As parents and children are reunited at the end of the day, they exchange stories about their experiences on their way home.
